From Now OM is an audio-visual performance, incorporating a chord created from singing the first six notes of the harmonic series at the beginning of the performance. This cathedral of sounds acts as a sonic backdrop to performances by three master melody creators.

Conduit develops and expresses electromagnetic fields as sound and light through initiating interactions in fluorescent lights with electrical current. The work draws on the cinematic device of using flickering lights to denote a presence of the supernatural.

Beth is a sculptural installation featuring the artist’s body parts alongside geometrical shapes. The artist aims to reclaim the body as a powerful tool for narrative, beyond the constraints of existing social constructs.

An Intimate Space for Newly Weds

This 3-channel video work, titled 'An Intimate Space for Newlyweds' combines several methods of imaging, including photogrammetry, 3D modelling and data visualisation, among others. It has been produced specifically for the SLEEPLESS Festival.

There are places in which the body finds rest, yet these places also play host to periods of immense unrest. A pillow can be a place of calm, yet also a place of isolation, torment and sleepless nights. A chair can be a place that slows the body down to assist contemplation, or a place of incoherent thought.

Shame File Music curates a survey/carnival of experimental sound and generally fucked up music from the western suburbs. A riot of tone scientists, sonic explorers, outsiders, musical ratbags, and the relentlessly curious share their wares in a sideshow of the west’s musical underground. Including: Whitehorse, Clinton Green, Maltese Well Monster + Friends, Deep Sneeze.
The Coming of Babaur - Isha Menon

Maribyrnong ArtsBox Artist In Residence, Isha Menon brings scenes and readings of their upcoming work 'The Coming of Babaur', an acerbic satire that combines social commentary with the surreal and fantastical. Our cast of ordinary people tackle the impossible; the End of the World. Get up close and personally with the creative process.

'Imitate Life. Be Content' is a performance work which interrogates entrenched issues within the creative sphere. Hosted by artist Alex Mansell, watch and be involved as the undirected and organic creativity of life is commodified into online content.
